This auction is for a WW1 Austalian Infantry Soldier (1917) a nd was sold only in France as part of a series of World War 1 figures. The figure is made in 1/32 scale and has the type of uniform and equipment used by Australian Infantry on the Western Fromt from 1917 until the end of WW1. It is similar in style and appearance to those figures produced by King & Country and Frontline Figures for Del Prado and other part works sellers . This model figure has been painted to a very high standard in shaded colours , and the fine paint work includes very finely painted face, uniform, buttons, buckles, and equipment (Including a highly detailed rifle, ammunition pounches, gas mask bag, water bottle, etc). It is produced and painted to a much higher standard than the usual Del Prado figures, and being a more true 1/32 scale is much more comparable to the matt painted figures produced by William Britains and Frontline figures in their current WW1 series. The figure is on a highly detailed metal diorama style base, and is approximately 6 cm high and the base 2 cm long . This very unusual figure is great for anyone with an interest in 20th Century military figures, and in particular the First World War, as a stand alone piece or as an addition to an existing collection. It is fully compatible with figures produced by William Britains , Frontline read more
