This is a beautiful Delft blue & white hand-painted porcelain Ginger Jar, or may be used as a vase without the cover. ~ This piece is approximately 11" tall with the cover on, 7" without cover and approximately 6" in diameter. ~ It is in absolutely MINT CONDITION and I am reasonably sure that Grandma purchased it one of the times that she was in Europe. ~ The markings on the bottom show the authenticity of this piece! ~~~~~Be assured this piece will be wrapped well for safe shipping as well as being insured. ~~~~~If there are any other questions please don't hesitate to ask! ~ THANKS FOR LOOKING!This note was sent to the current bidder about the condition of the item:Thank you for your bid which you have placed on the Blue Delft Ginger Jar/Vase that we have in our listings ~ When I took the jar and lid out to check it I noted that there was some light crazing on the back of the vase ~ I have taken some more pictures that I have placed in our listing which show what I consider to be the back as it does not have as many florals on it ~ The crazing is in the upper part of the white area on the back ~ They are not easily seen unless you are looking for them and you cannot feel them when you run your finger across them, but felt you should know ~ If you choose to retract your bid I would understand and thought you should certainly have read more
