What a lovely Rosenthal/Delft demitasse cup is up for bidding at auction today. This flared, traditional blue and white six-sided cup is very well marked--even including the pattern (Versailles) and dates (c) 1876-1900. This diminutive cup is in perfect condition--no chips, hairlines, cracks, etc. It is a great display cup and I presume has been on display since it was created!! The interior is blue and flares out from a 1 3/4 inch diameter footed base to a 3 inch scalloped rim. The height of the demitasse cup is 1 1/2 inches. This is a charming piece. T are so many marks on the base, I am showing two pictures. Please check my listing for other lovely antique items.
