Delightful Miniature Antique Leather Studded Oak Chest/Coffer, Early 20thC Delightful Miniature Antique Leather Studded Oak Chest/Coffer, Early 20thC This is a beautiful piece of antique woodenware, made in solid oak. This miniature coffer or chest dates to the early 20 th century, and may be French in origin. It has tooled, brass studded leather to the top and legs, and the wood has a poker-work style decoration to the entire surface – a beautiful addition to any antique furniture or woodenware collection. Size It measures 8.5” (21cm) long, 5.75” (14.5cm) tall, and is 4.5” (12cm) deep. C ondition Good original condition, with only very minor wear to the exterior; the top sits approx 2mm higher than it should, and the key to the lock is missing.
