Well, What we have here is one of the early Demeter Mic Pre's with the attached power cable from the late 80's I'm the second owner and can't say enough good things about this Pre. It was big money new and for a good reason. I've got her dialed up with NOS Raytheons front to back with 2 12AX7a's 2 12BH7a's and 1 12AT7 It is an outstanding DI in addition to just a smooth sounding pre on anything you throw at it. Vocals are present and articulate, Electric Bass through the DI is just lovely. Plug in your guitar and you will find yourself practicing for hours. I will miss it dearly. I need to get some live PA bits or I would not let this go. I'm just not using it enough right now to justify hanging on to it and I have other pre's that are in close to the same vein so I won't be left in a lurch. Jim Demeter is one cool cat and will service this as well if the need arises. I sent in my companion VTCL-2a recently with a power supply issue last year ( Available in Seperate Auction ) and he basically made it new again for around 150 bucks. I've bulletproof packed this and will ship to the Continental US FedEX for 30 bucks insured. I've got half of that fee invested in shipping materials already.
