Description:Nice demitasse cup and saucer by Royal Doulton in "The Cavendish" pattern #D5009. In greens and yellows, on a beige ground with transfer of roses and banding. The saucer has a scalloped edge. Pattern manufactured from 1930-1956.Marks:Both pieces are marked in brown " "The Cavendish " and the lion & crown Royal Doulton England - Made in England mark along with the pattern number " D5009 " and the letter " A ".Condition:Both pieces are in excellent condition. There are no nicks, chips, cracks, or repairs.Size (approximate):Saucer is 4-5/8" in diamater; the cup is 2-1/8" in height..Provenance:On consignment from a private collection.Shipping:USPS - 8x8x8 box - 1 lb.
