DEMPSEY: BY THE THE MAN HIMSELF. As told to Bob Considine and Bill Slocum. Simon and Schuster, 1960. First edition. Hardcover, 249 pages. INSCRIBED by Jack Dempsey on the title page. Book condition: Good. A few very light bumps at the head and three corners of the boards. Two of the corners are also a little frayed. A tiny bit of rubbing to the boards and top edges of the boards. There's a previous owner's signature on the front free-endpaper (the same person to whom the book is inscribed). Otherwise clean, tight and unmarked. Dust jacket condition: Good. Dust-soiling and rubbing. A bit of light foxing on the front cover. Edge-wear of numerous small tears, chips or creases, mostly at the head, tail and corners. Not price-clipped.
