5 DENNISON Store Display Cards ROPE WORK Booklet 1915“Show these to your customers and explain the new art.”That is the sentence on the bottom of card #1. I am not sure what to call these –Retail Flash Cards? As these are presumably for store use, that would make them quite rare. The return address says "Advertising Department"These are five, 6” by 9” stiff cardboard cards showing the various items that can be covered in Dennison’s Crepe Paper Rope. The cards come in their original envelope.Also, an eight page booklet called: “Dennison’s Crepe Paper Rope Work”. The printer’s code at the bottom says: No. 31-50M-11-15 I believe that this dates the booklet to November 1915.The cards are in very nice shape, save for a corner bump on the upper left corner on each of them. The booklet has a light water stain to the lower left corner, at an angle. The stain and wrinkling extends throughout the whole booklet. The staples have a little rust to them. The cover is split 1” down on the spine. A bit soiled and abused but still in good shape. The cards are quite nice though.NOTE: I don’t know if the cards and booklet came together. But the cards have a very similar look to the cards so I think that they are of the same general time period.Please see my other Dennison items on auction. I will be happy to combine shipping
