This auction is for an original, hand painted and signed/dated large size acrylic on paper painting of Tina Turner by the artist Denny Dent. The painting features Denny's signature hand print in the upper right hand corner. As with all his paintings, it was created during a live performance to music playing of the artist he was creating and would sell the paintings after the show. Denny painted portraits on six foot paper in the time it took to play a few carefully selected pieces of music. Denny has been described as the world's only "rock & roll painter. Sadly Denny Dent passed away in March of 2004. He has left a beautiful collection of portraits from his "Two-Fisted Art Attacks" and this is an outstanding example of his work. The frame is black wood with a UV protective plexi-glass and is in good condition. This painting has been authenticated at DuMouchelles Fine Auction House in Detroit, Michigan. The Tina Turner painting will be well packaged & delivered to your door!
