Denton Welch - Maiden Voyage - 1943 UK first edition(second impression) published by Routledge.The book is firmly bound, the boards are slightly bumped and marked at the edges, but generally clean and attractive. The text block is slightly age toned, with some minor foxing and the residue from what looks to have been a pricing sticker to the top corner of the front endpaper. The dust jacket is the original and not price clipped, there is minor loss to the spine ends and corners, there is a scuffed area to the front panel, closed tears to the bottom of the spine, some repaired to the reverse with archival tape and rubbing along the folds of the flaps and the spine. A rare find in any kind of original jacket due to the fragility of the war time production.
