You are bidding on "Van Tassel Manor" Dept. 56 New England Village Item #59544. Introduced 1990 and retired 1993. Mint condition piece in original box & sleeve. Yellow house with mansard roof with two front dormers. Wood corner posts support porch. Stone lean-to on one side. Double chimneys rise off roof ridge. Four ears of corn decorate front entry. After attending a party at the Van Tassel residence, Ichabod Crane set out for home but never got t Size: about 6.5" tall. When I used to set up my Christmas Village, I set the Sleepy Hollow pieces in their own separate corned of the village. This had an interesting effect in an otherwise traditional New England village.
