This is a Department 56 Ornament that stands at 8 1/2 inches tall from the blown glass hook at the tip of his hat to the bottom of his boots. He stands on a small painted black stand just below his boots. Santa has a sliver some what metallic Department 56 sticker placed over the opening to the inside of his body. It says: Handblown glass Made in China with the wording Department 56 in the middle. He is dressed in a longer red style jacket with red hat on his head. The trim on the jacket and hat is a sliver color as is his face and mittens. The face has two black dots to denote the eyes and red round dots on each of his cheeks. He has a white silvery beard and mustache with a bit of red painted on for his mouth. Santa has on what looks like a green vest under his red jacket and a bit of black belt showing with gold buckle. He is holding in his left mittened hand a green strap that has two gold bells hanging on it in the center. T is a section of a gold sack slung over Santa's right shoulder and the rest of the sack is on his back with a blue colored present with green ribbon at the top of the bag. T are tips of his shoes showing out from under his red pants legs. This ornament feels heavier too me then any other ornament I have felt of this size.
