Rare Dept 56 American Diner Christmas in the City CIC Village Prototype Sample Description Up for Auction is a Rare Salesman Sample Prototype. It is of the American Diner. It has an unmarked bottom. The unfortunate part is that it has parts of the diner that have been crossed out with a black felt pen. the names on the front of the building are paper labels (air conditioning sign, American diner sign). One bush on the side of the building has broken off. Other than that it is in Excellent Condition. It has no box, no Light cord. I bought it several years ago where dept 56 was being represented for wholesalers to buy from. It was a sample, and since then I have never unpacked it until now. Measures approx 10.25" by 5" as I have listed my entire Christmas in the City Collection:)
