DEPT 56 CHRISTMAS IN THE CITY "CATHEDRAL CHURCH OF ST MARK" LIMITED EDITION OF 3,024 1991-1992 I am selling the Retired "Cathedral Church of St. Mark" from Dept.56 Christmas in the City, item #55492. The church was first introduced for a very limited time in the fall 1992 and was retired in December of 1992, Commonly referred to as "St. Mark's." Dept 56 announced a limited edition production run of 17,500, instead due to production problems they only produced a total of 3,024 pieces and was actual less than that because several dealers returned the pieces due to damage and most were destroyed. These pieces are few and far between, marked on the bottom and on sleeve #1876. The front has look of fortification with two towers rising next to entry. Moldings are richly carved above double doors. Stone and brick with accented stone work framing walls and towers. Triple windows on each upper tower side, piece was lighted and I saw no defects, measures 8" x 8" x 9". The Piece is in Mint, clean condition and comes in the original box & sleeve with un-opened light cord & booklet, comes from a Smoke & pet free enviroment.Thank You !!!!!!!
