This is a no reserve auction for six buildings from the Dept 56 Christmas in the City Collection: Dorothy's Dress Shop, Arts Academy, Doctor's Office, Music Emporium, 5609 Park Ave Townhouse and Haberdashery.All in excellent condition in original styrofoam boxes and sleeves. Each building is also available separately and information and pictures are shown in those auctions.We will be auctioning a huge collection of Department 56 collectibles - from Christmas in the City, Dickens, Alpine, Snow and the New England Village. Most of the pieces are mint in original boxes and sleeves. Some have been displayed. UNLESS NOTED - ALL BUILDINGS HAVE LIGHTS and very few appeared to have ever been used. Many of these items had never been opened except for inspection and or photographs. Some of the boxes show shelfwear and many of the styrofoam containers are discolored. We tried to note which had been previously displayed and which boxes or styrofoam are discolored or ripped - but likely missed some.
