Up for auction is a wonderful very colorful hand painted porcelain Dept 56 Life Is Just A Bowl Of Cherries Cookie Jar that is NEW IN BOX . This piece was owned by a collector of a number of Enecso, Lenox and Dept 56 centerpieces and collectibles. Like all her collectibles, she never removed this cookie jar from its original box. It is still packed and padded in its original box decorated with cherries and leaves plus a stronger inner box. The measurements are approx. 11-3/4" high to the top of the lid. The opening at the top is approx. 6-1/2" diameter and the base is 4-1/4" in diameter. You can see in one of my photos what is written and enscribed on the bottom. One of the cherries around the top has a small chip. A touch of red fingernail polish and you'll never know the difference. Other than that, it is in excellant condition without any other blemishes. The outer decorative box does have some minor blemishes and rips. Please see my other Lenox, Enesco and Dept 56 collectibles currently on auction. They are all NEW IN BOX never used.
