Dept 56 * THE SPOOKY FOREST Wizard of Oz DOROTHY Figure You are bidding on a very nice Dept 56 The Spooky Forest figure. It has been on display but in excellent condition and includes original box. Department 56--The Wizard of Oz "The Spooky Forest" --Item # 56.59362. This item is from Dept. 56 and is from The Wizard of Oz. This is the scene when the foursome is traveling through the spooky forest on their way to retrieve the witch's broom. The Cowardly Lion gets scared and the Tin Man and Scarecrow are holding him on both sides as he tries to run away. A very spooky looking tree with vultures and owls sitting in it towers above the group. Toto stands beneath a "wooden" sign. One section of the sign reads "Haunted Forest, Witch's Castle 1 Mile." The bottom section reads, "I'd turn back if I were you!" Dorothy looks on as the Tin Man (holding a large wrench) and the Scarecrow (holding a large walking stick) are holding onto the Cowardly Lion. The Lion is holding a large net. The base of this piece is the "stony" forest floor that is strewn with leaves. The moss ground cover is NOT included. You will love this charming piece.
