DEPT 56 VILLAGE EXPRESS Train by BACHMANNUsed at Christmas time with Dept 56 layoutDept 56 Item # 52710 The detail on the locomotive, tender, and cars are of the Bachmann's "Spectrum" workmanship and design that make them worthy of the "Spectrum" line, this is not a "toy train" but of "collector's quality." This train is of the ON30 scale, which is an O scale size car running on an HO scale track. They will operate on any HO track system. This scale is used with Dept. 56 / Hawthorne village Christmas displays. The locomotive is lighted as is the interior of the passenger cars. This train set is worthy of being a conversation display piece anytime with its fine detail, let alone keeping it as a collector item. All Bachmann's Spectrum trains aredesigned with the recognized collectible appearance . As can be seen in the photos this train has been well cared for. Bachmann's Spectrum Lifetime Warranty of repair or replacement of the locomotive unit is also worth notice ! The Locomotive is guaranteed for life by Bachmann, if it ever stops working, just send it back to them and for a small handling fee they will fix or replace it, NO BETTER GUARANTEE. The locomotive and rail cars will be shipped in individual foam divided compartments within the shipping box that will make a great storage container.
