PICKERING VERY RARE, LIMITED/SIGNED, FIRST EDITION OF "ANGLING ON THE TEST OR TRUE LOVE UNDER STRESS" BY RODERICK L. HAIG-BROWN PUBLISHED BY THE DERRY DALEPRESS, NEW YORK, 1939. This is a must for all of you Derrydale and or sporting book collectors. Darrydale is the pinnacle for its craftsmanship of quality books. This is a nice addition to the sporting library. Pickering is an author that should be a part of your collection. He has published other very popular titles such as "Trout fishing in Secret" and most famously wrote "Dog-Days on Trout Wathers" . This is one of his very desirable Derrydale books limited and signed to only 197 copies. This is number 36, signed on the title penned by Pickering himself! PHENOMINAL BOOK REMAINS IN VERY GOOD+ CONDITION. Beautiful and original black decorative cloth with gilt lettering on cover. 25p pages are very clean, complete, tight in binding. Binding contains only light wear with very minor soiling. There is no marks or writing, other than authors. Book measures aprox. 9.25 by 6 inches.
