DESIGNER ROLL PATTERNED BATIK HEMP VINTAGE FABRIC 16 Description This is a ONE OF A KIND large and long roll of completely HAND MADE DESIGNER BATIK PATTERNED Grade A NATURAL Hemp Fabric acquired on the Laos/Northern Thailand Border . This HAND LOOMED fabric is extremely popular in Japan because of the STUNNING designs created with the time consuming application of candle wax. The candle wax is applied to the natural hemp in various designs around which are applied natural plant colored dyes. The fabric is then boiled to remove the wax leaving the INCREDIBLE design. The fabric roll has been stored and is in PERFECT condition. Hemp production is prohibited in most countries which makes this fabric rather unique and rare. The fabric being very durable and long lasting has a wide variety of uses from making pillow cases, lamp shade covers, curtains and many types of fashion and decorative accessories. The different colored patterns on the natural plain hemp fabric have a stunning visual impact and are sure to impress and AMAZE.
