Hand-Painted FISH Dinner Plate by DESIMONE of Italy O ffered for auction: A large, lovely hand-painted plate from Desimone of Palermo, Sicily, Italy. This Cubist-inspired plate is decorated with a colorful pattern of sea-green water outlining swimming white fish eating (what I think are) octopus. This delightful plate is about 10 inches wide across the rim. It is in very good to excellent condition, with crisp colors. The only flaw that I can find is a glaze skip at the rim (shown in the photo at top right), and original to the manufacture; t are other very minor bumps and pits also original to and typical of the production process. The plate is signed "DESIMONE / ITALY / 23." Terms, Conditions, and Shipping: 1.
