This auction is for a very beautiful antique early 1900s pure silk velvet fragment from the Edwardian era. It is luxuriously soft and its pile is very close to the surface. It is a very unique shade of palest peach, in my opinion, and has silver undertones depending on how it is held. It is very light in weight and is simply wonderful. This is a rare shade to find;I have a vast collection of silk velvets and have never seen this color before. It is in very good condition and measures approximately 8" x13" - 13.5" at longest length.
