In Boulogne sur Mer, the center of the Madeleine was operated until the war of 1914- 1918 by Jules Verlingue who created the models to be sold in the tourist centers. In 1917, he sells to Henri Delcourt who will operate it until 1935. The economic crisis to the faiencerie was due mostly to the second world war, making it impossible to recover.
