Detroit Jewel stove. Model #A6620 CVGX. Serial #G8520 10836. 1937 This stove works on natural gas but can be motified for propane. The first picture shows the stove with the cover over the cook top. This cover slides down into the unit to reveal the cook top and when the cover is closed it is used for work space. It has 4 cook top eyes. The one photo shows the light and timer that stands above the stove and both work. Earliest stove I have seen with a timer. It has 2 oven drawers and 2 baking drawers that can be used as warming drawers. It is covered with white enamel and stainless steel. Please notice it has all its original knobs which is also unusual. 43" wide x 27" deep, the cook top is 36" high and the top of time & light is 54" high. This unit came from southern Indiana and was being used up to the day before it was removed 3 weeks ago. The lady that owned it used it every day and loved it. She had tetired and was moving and said she has never considered buying a newer stove. You can start using it the day it arrives. Abosolutly beautiful piece! Most times a piece like this is pick up only put we have where withall to ship anywhere in the lower 48 states via truckline. You can pickit up at know charge but we can ship it Truckline. The trucking company will no longer take used equipment unless it is complelly boxed. read more
