Deutsche Verkehrsbücher # 5 Der Harz. This one I believe was from the early 1920's or 1930's or could be late 1930's. Most of the one's I have have color fancy covers, there from the early 1930's, so the plain covers could ahve been for mth e1920. earlier editions or later editions as the war grew close. German travel book for the state of Harz, which is in central eastern Germnay. This book was printed in Germany, other books like this were printed in other countries in Europe, America, & middle America to promote travel in & to Germany. The book has a map with all the cities, towns, railraod routes, & roads, each page is a city or town with a black & white photos with a description of the place, the best hotels, places of interest & eatery. What I liked about them is they have railway map of just that area & it had all the city & towns listed. They come numbered, this book is in good condition wioth no writing or rips, but some kid 70 years ago got gum on the back, 2 little spots & it's hard as a rock now, not bad though. T his listing is for 5 days only, Ebay promotional fees are over, but I will keep listings at 5 days this time. I will be liquidating & listing all my HO German locomotives, cars, & buildings over the next 2 months, so please check all listings & place me in your favorites.
