This handsome guy is made of chalkware and hand-painted, flat-backed with embedded wire hanger. He measures approximately 6 inches from tip of horns to chin. He is not an antique, but the style is reminiscent of the old-time devil head match holders for kitchen or hearth. As with any handcrafted item, t are minor imperfections, but he displays beautifully. The indentation in his head is approximately 1.5 inches deep, useful for the shorter variety of stick matches. Please be aware, we are not always sure about the origins of our items - some may have been exposed to smoke or pets along the way, so please keep this in mind when bidding.
