This deal includes one pair is Dia-Compe model 292, in black anodized aluminum alloy. Only made for just a few years in the late 1980's to early 1990s. Cult item in some parts of the world, with their distinctive batwing shaped levers!Model 292 is a hard-to-find variant closely resembling the better-know model 290, with differently shaped levers, and a subtle difference in the exact angle of the barrel adjusters (SEE LAST PHOTO, which shows one of these model 292 levers next to a model 290 levers, for purposes of comparison and reference). AND ALSO INCLUDED IN THIS DEAL another pair of very similar model Dia-Compe levers, exact model # is unknown at this time. This pair is made of black plastic coated steel.BOTH PAIRS IN NEAR MINT MECHANICAL AND COSMETIC CONDITION!!22.2mm clamp for mtn flat bars.These are suitable for use for CANTILEVER and some side-pull brakes, such as you find on old mtn bikes and beach cruisers, etc.ALSO PLEASE NOTE that both of these are ALSO COMPATIBLE WITH MINI-V-BRAKES.
