Offering this handsome vintage edition of Charles Dickens Works; Christmas Stories and Reprinted Pieces including the well loved story of the reclamation of Ebenezer Scrooge's soul in A Christmas Carol. Published by Mershon Co, New York, no publish date, but late 1800's to early 1900's. Rich burgundy pebbled cloth hardboards with gold lettering on spine; clean, no spine cracks or fraying - one very light crease mark on spine about 2 inches long, does not detract. Pages are clean and tight, no scribbling, tears, or stains; very lightly age toned but not brittle. Stories included are A Christmas Carol, The Chimes, The Cricket on the Hearth, The Battle of Life, The Haunted Man, Somebody's Luggage, Mrs Lirriper's Lodgings, Mrs Lirriper's Legacy, Doctor MariGold, The Boy at Mugby, and The Seven Poor Travellers; also included are several short stories. Total of 828 pages, book measures 7.5 x 5 inches; nice full page frontspiece illustration. A wonderful vintage edition for your collection and enjoyment!
