This is a nice miniature Dickota Pottery oil jar made in the Dakotas in the last century. This beautiful little oil jar is in a dark cobalt blue glaze. It is truely a miniature oil jar that stands a mere 3-1/2" tall and 3" in diameter at the widest point. The vase has a pottery base that is inscribed DICKOTA , that has filled with the blue glaze. The vase has a few glaze pock marks. This is a nice example of studio art pottery made last century. In excellent condition with no chips cracks crazings hairlines repairs or restorations.
