This record folder details the component change records (Engine, transmission, bogies, boiler etc) of this North British built locomotive. In traffic for just 9 years, between May 1959 and May 1968, this is one of the 6 original 'Pilot Scheme' D6300 class locomotives built as part of the National Traction plan of some 174 locomotives of different types from 1957 onwards for British Railways. An original unique historical document.
