Beautiful Dietz 39 Bellbottom NPS marked with cast globe

Here is something you don't see everyday, a Dietz model 39 bellbottom that appears to be railroad marked. A small piece of metal that is stamped "NPS" was soldered to the bottom of the bell, apparently before the lantern was tinned. The tinning is bright and shiney over the entire lantern, and the label job looks professional. The lantern is rust-free inside and out via non abrasive chemical cleaning (Sani-Flush), solid as a rock, and smooth as a baby's behind. The cast B&O extended base #39 globe looks great, but has a long crack down the side opposite from the name casting, so it displays really well in the lantern. Your not going to light this baby up and oxidize the top lid anyway. Of course, if you have another really super globe without a matching lantern, you can put it in this beauty and use the B&O globe in another lantern or as a squirrel feeder if you want. Comes with pot, burner, globe, and lantern as shown. I regret having to air dirty laundry, but I seem to be a victim of what Ebay terms “Feedback Extortion”. The short story is that the buyer who trashed my feedback threatened to do this unless I “refunded” half of the freight charges after he had already received the item.
