Vintage Dietz - No. 40 Traffic Gard - Syracuse N.Y. - U.S.A. Has the original deep ruby red thick glass stamped with Dietz No. 40 on it. I don't know much about lanterns, so please let the photos be your guide in judging it's overall value and condition. Measures approx. 8" tall x 7.25" wide at base x 16" tall with handle. The red painted surface is in pretty nice condition. The base has a few dings, but no rust. T is a bit of burnt surface area that has some slight superficial rustiness (expected) on inside top above glass from the flame (see photo #8 ).
