Dietz Fire King Department Lamp Description: This is a very nice old Fire King lantern. It has been painted at some point, but appears to have been nickel plated (see the photo of the bottom of the font). It is tin and in excellent condition (preserved by the silver paint). It is not dented or bent. The globe is a Dietz FITALL and is in nice shape as well, it has a mark that appears to be “GIX” molded into the top of the globe opposite of the “Dietz FITALL” logo. It measures: (aprox) 15 in high (not including the bales) x 7 in diameter, and weighs 3 pounds 12 ounces (shipping wt will be more with packing).
