~2 DIFFERENT I/P NEW ORLEANS SODAS~ONE PRICE~COLOR~LOOK~ 2 great New Orleans bottles, offered for one price, the lighter doughnut top, (small ice pick chip pictured), lighter colored bottle is in a bit rougher shape, the embossing is fairly strong for this variant and could be restored to a much nicer piece with a pro cleaning. No other real damage just ground wear mainly in the form of light overall scratching, a super old, ca. 1838-1850 rare and desirable bottle to be sure Embossed with a block letter P on its reverse, actually both bottles are, and on its front: MIGUEL PIRIS/334/ROYAL STREET/NEW ORLEANS The next example really is a beautiful bottle, ca. 1850-1860, a deep aqua marine in color, or dark aqua to be safe as color is always subject to interoperation but the pictures show it like it is, anyhow, great shape save a miniscule lip issue pictured and more felt than seen, just super crude almost looking sided from its base as it was set down at least twice while on the pontil rod giving it an odd individual character, and what’s really unusual for a gulf bottle it still has a thick iron deposit in its improved, (same as iron) pontil scar. True blob applied mouth eith a crooked neck, it is just hammered with whittling and loaded with seed bubbles, a stunning bottle and other than the minor lip issue and some possible very read more
