8 dining room chairs. 6 side chairs and 2 carvers. These are made of dark wood (unsure of type). The wood is of good condition. These chairs are believed to be bought by my parents-in-law in the 1960's in Leeds. They are reproductions (but decent ones). The seats are foam and covered in a deep red velvet. The seats and upholstry are past their best as the foam is perished in places. The velvet is not ripped or torn but again, needs some work as the braid is coming off in places. There are some marks on the legs where the chairs have rubbed against the feet of the table. I had planned to do these chairs up and use them however, we have decided to let them go to a new home as we need the space. Chair measurements: Height 93cm (total), of seat 44cm Width 55cm Depth 48cm Collection only from Youlgrave in Derbyshire (close to Bakewell & Chatsworth).
