Up for auction here, we have a Dinky 106 Thunderbird 2. Released in 1978, the window boxed versions are definately the hardest to find in mint boxed condition. Most turn up with replaced windows on the boxes and repro parts , making original examples much sought after. This example is 100% original and unused . Condition-wise I'd say it was very near mint. Two decals have unfortunately fallen off and gone missing, and it has a tiny amount of wear on the inner pod enclosure. I haven't pushed the pod out as don't want to cause more wear. I can hear Thunderbird 4 rattling around in the pod, and the legs work perfectly. The window box is in very near mint condition as well, with a tiny amount of edge wear. It's nice and sharp with lovely colours, the header card is unpunched . The window is original, which in itself is a rarity these days! It has a couple of tiny splits but they are very very minor. A lovely overall example, which will simply look great on display. I've started the auction low with no reserve; so bid now to add this to your collection. I guarantee you will not be disappointed!
