Dinky #153 Standard Vanguard 1954-1960, Near Mint Original This Dinky #153 Standard Vanguard is made of diecast metal with a sheet metal base and was made in England by Meccano in 1954 and 1960. It is 3 9/16" long and has black rubber tires on cream ridged hubs. This is the version with the name on the underside of the roof and it has large lettering and the rear axle is held in place with metal tabs coming down from the base. It is in near mint condition with just a few minor paint chips. There are no cracks, breaks, repairs or no repainting.
