This auction is for a very nice, caudal or tail vertebra from the Jurassic-age, plant-eating, Sauropod dinosaur, Diplodocus. The vertebra measures 9 inches by 7 inches by 4 inches. The only preparation performed has been matrix or rock removal and minor fracture filling. It is a great specimen and displays well either standing upright or on its side. All dinosaur specimens were excavated on private land in the Jurassic-age, Morrison Formation in the Big Horn Basin, Wyoming. A certificate of authenticity is provided with each specimen. Be sure to check out for more great specimens. Also, check out the beautifully articulated and complete Camarasaurus we found and excavated this summer!
