view my other auctions below: visit my entire auction showcase Diplomatic American Eagle Tray w Cobalt & Gold Trim You are bidding on a vintage square tray with chamfered corners with an American eagle in the center. It measures 8 1/8" square and is 1 1/4" high at the edge. T are no chips, cracks, or crazing or loss to the decoration, though the cobalt glaze shows some alligatoring if you look at it very carefully--see photo. This piece is unmarked except for some small gold numbers on the back and the remains of a round label. We think this may be one of Mottahedeh's Diplomatic Series pieces and that the round "Mottahedeh' Design" sticker was on the back w the circle outline remains, but were not sure.The tray weighs 1 1/2 lbs.
