The evil fairy Maleficent confers with her raven, Diablo, on this striking gold-finished collector's pin, inspired by Disney's Sleeping Beauty and based on an original ceramic design by renowned artist Elisabete Gomes, a facsimile of whose signature is reproduced on the pin's face. This pin was from the first series of Disney Auctions jumbo-sized pins designed by Elisabete Gomes. They are not only wonderful renditions of Disney characters but are incredible artistic achievements in design and layout. As a result, they have become rare and treasured additions to any Disney pin collection. The pin measures approximately 2.5" and was released in 2004. Originally offered via eBay, these Disney Auctions pins are large, well-crafted, and feature unique original art of popular characters in wonderful poses. Disney Auctions oversized LE 100 pins have become some of the most sought after character pins ever released by Disney.
