This auction is for a Disneyred stripe monorail in used but good working condition. I bought this monorail with the intent of adding it to my HO scale train platform, but the monorail is a scale larger than what I expected. The following is the most accurate description I can provide. The monorail is in the original box which has a tear in the upper right corner. There are slats in the box top for a handle which is missing. Some edges of molded styrofoam that holds the parts are torn. The monorail has 5 cars and operates smoothly on an oval track that is 49" x 61.5". The headlights illuminate a light green color and the motorized front car plays a recorded voice which announces "Please stay clear of the doors. On behalf of the cast of the Walt Disney World resort, welcome to the Magic Kingdom. No smoking please. Please hold onto the hand rails." Two AA batteries provide the power. The cars are detachable and connect with plastic pegs, except for the front car that has a metal bolt that is probably not an original part, but works just fine. The car connections are concealed by flexible cushions between the cars. Original instructions included. Please see all posted photos. I welcome any questions. Payment by Paypal only.
