A Walt Disney Pin Walt Disney World - The Florida Citrus Growers' Orange Bird Pinpics #46068 - Retired An extremely rare pin. One of the original Orange Bird pins from the 1970s. The Orange Bird was created for the Florida Citrus Growers and located by the Sunshine Pavillion refreshment stand in Adventureland. When you finished listening to the Tiki Birds, there she was, a park character for many years. This straight-back with clasp pin is about 1" tall and 3/4" wide; the back reads, "WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS." Many years ago, I purchased a collection that had several of these Orange Birds. Over the years, I have sold some and given some out to special Cast Members and Guests. I'm to a point where I only have a few left, so I now offer only one of these on eBay each year... so this is the only Orange Bird I will offer in 2014.
