This set is praized for being more luxorious, the dolls are styled in much nicer way, the dresses are more detailed and made of more sophisticated fabrics and richer in layering and generally more beautiful and better quality. Also, The hair is is of better quality then in the set of 10 dolls. Lastly the other dolls are jointed in knees and elbows what makes them more prone to breaking off parts of limbs or whole limbs and this set is known for durability. It is pefect for kids and it lasts years and years, leg, head and arm can be just taken off and snap right back on without any damage to the doll and without any difference. Some kids actually do play the head switch in the manner as it can be done with Barbie dolls and this adds to the fun as it save on changing outfits, changing head is just so easy with this set. You can't not do it with the set of 10 dolls. Lastly the other dolls are way more difficult to dress up and undress becuase the limbs do not want to cooperate through the narrow parts of sleeves or pants, not to mention the limbs that end up easily twisted in the weird position not intended by the child and adding to the frustration. The other doll set is made in the same exactly manner and using the same body type as the Barbie doll and it comes with the same benefits and expected durability. The new set already has been reviewed as being more prone to breaking sending many frustrated parents to us to get this set as a replacement for the other one. We never carried the other set as we noticed early on the noted widely problems with it and we are only offering this faublous and durable set. It comes in sturdier and stronger generally and more presentable case then the other set. Being all the sets of the same manufacturer they offer entirely different experience for parents and children.
