This is a authentic and large animation painting, which came from the estate Of Disney's renown animator Ward Kimball. Kimball was one of the last "Nine Old Men Of Disney", and sadly just recently passed. (PLEASE SEE BIOGRAPHY BELOW) I purchased this from a estate sale of Ward Kimball, and it comes with a "Certificate Of Authenticity". Which is hand signed by Kimball's son, "John Kimball. This large painting is hand painted and signed by renown Japanese animator "Seisaku Sato", who was a close friend of Ward Kimball and his wife. This painting was a "Christmas Gift" to Ward and his wife, and is dated 1989 So not only is this a authentic painting from Kimball's estate, which includes provenance. It is also hand painted by a important Japanese animator. It is also so beautiful , intricate, and perfect, hand painted, that it is hard to believe that it is a real painting. Ward Kimball was a train fanatic, and Seisaku painted a beautiful animated scene of Ward Kimball wearing his famous glasses, along with his wife, riding a old time train. This is in superb condition and is still in its original red matting. This measures not including mat 17 inches wide by 11 inches high. It measures including mat, 14.5 by 20.5 inches. PLEASE LOOK UP SELLERS OTHER ITEMS TO SEE ONE MORE PAINTING FROM WARD KIMBALL'S ESTATE.
