Disney WINNIE THE POOH AND A DAY FOR EEYORE Large-imageAnimation Cel of ROO with Disney Seal, 1983WALT DISNEY STUDIOWinnie the Pooh and a Day for Eeyore (1983)original production animation cel paintinggouache on untrimmed animation cel sheet, image size: 7.25" x 7.25"This very large-image hand-painted animation cel of little Roo was created and photographed in production of Disney's fourth animated featurette based on the stories and characters created by A.A. Milne. Winnie the Pooh and Piglet are playing Pooh-Sticks on a bridge when they spy Eeyore floating on his back down the river. They are joined by Roo and Rabbit and devise a plan to throw stones into the water on one side of Eeyore to create waves and wash him over to the shore. However, the bear of very little brain drops the stone on Eeyore's midsection and he sinks. In a nice close-up a moment later, Roo, perched on the top rail of the fence, spots Eeyore and exclaims: "There he is!"This cel was prepared by Disney for release through its art program. The Walt Disney Company seal and "© The Walt Disney Company 1983" stamp are on the cel at lower right. Studio designation "E17 R35" appears along the bottom of the sheet to indicate this cel's place in the film.Certificate of authenticity is included.
