Walt Disney's DONALD DUCK #28 -- Mar. 1953 (Dell Publications) This HIGH QUALITY vintage comic book is complete, & in Very Fine condition with some minor wear. The cover art is by CATL BARKS. I grade using the Overstreet Grading Guide (3rd Edition), and my 40+ years of personal grading experience. PEDIGREE: This comic book is part of a mostly high grade collection of over 350 early 1950's DELL comics that were bought from the original owner in 2007. Known as The Shiflett Collection , the story behind these mostly high grade comics was published in SCOOP on Jan. 18th 2008 (Internet Newsletter from Gemstone). Read about it : /shiflett-collection While CGC didn't deem this collection worthy of any Pedigree mention on its slabs, the collection is still quite impressive, with many key and semi-key Dell Four Color issues represented. The comic will be sent in a protective magazine bag with an acid-free backer board. CONDITION DETAILS: T are no cut outs or stains, nothing is missing, nor are t any marks or writing. SPINE and STAPLES: The spine is nice, but shows some light color breaks. The staples are solid, but show some oxidation. FRONT COVER: The front cover edges are tight & square, with no rips or tears.
