This is a limited-edition sericel for Walt Disney's animated clasiic, The Three Caballeros (1945). This edition,"The Three Happy Chappies", from Sequence 1, Scene 19, features Donald and his Latin American friens Jose Carioca from Brazil and Panchito from Mexico, celebrating their camaradie as "happy amigos". This sericel is a reproduction of a hand-inked, hand painted animation cel master specially created by the Animated Animations Company and artists at the Walt Disney Studios Ink and Paint Department. American Atelier of Gardena CA, used this master cel as reference in the production of these sericels. Eighteen colors were used to recreate the color image, each of which has been exactingly screen-painted, one color at a time, onto the cel. The sericel is ready to be framed and matted.
