Up for sale is a book, "The Dispensatory of the United States of America" by George Wood and Franklin Bache. The book was published in 1871 by J. B. Lippincott and Co. , Philadelphia. Basically a listing of all medical substances (pharmaceuticals) used in each state in the US. Huge book, 1810 pages long. Full leather cover with the title and authors names on labels on the spine. The cover has a lot of wear at the edges and corners with marks, scratches and nicks in the leather. A few of the front blank endpapers have a corner torn out. Hole in the title page, about ¾" in diameter. Name written at the top of the title pages. Pages are tan but very flexible, clean inside and the binding is loose but not bad for a book with 1810 pages.US buyers only, shipping is calculated.Payment is due at the time of the sale.
