This is a piece of the Djoumine meteorite. It fell on October 31, 1999 in Banzart, Tunisia. A bright flash preceded the fall of this meteorite and several stones fell outside the village of Djoumine. Djoumine is classified as a chondrite, (H6). Most of this meteorite was snapped up quickly by private collectors and little was ever sold on the open market. Only ~9 kilograms fell. This piece weighs 15.20 grams and is a fresh partslice, it is unpolished. PLEASE NOTE: I will be out of the country until 16 January, and will be unable to ship any item until after that date. I am a meteorite dealer and fully gaurantee the authenticity of every meteorite and tektite specimen I sell.
