Doctor's Counter? Labeler? Medford Wisconsin MacAlaster, Wiggin Co. This auction is for the item shown in the picture. I am not sure exactly what it is, but it looks like a counter of some kind, or perhaps it was used for labeling things with numbers. The object is made of metal and is approximately 3 1/2 inches long and 1 11/16 inches wide. It was manufactured by MacAlaster, Wiggin Co. of Boston. There is a panel at the top of the item that reads, "DR. J. F. MARTIN,/ MEDFORD,WIS." Below that are four circles, each of which contains a number. The number in each circle can be changed by turning the corresponding wheel below that circle. This item is in used condition. The surface of the item exhibits some scratches and wear. The top panel that displays the doctor's name is dented.This item will be wrapped in bubble wrap and mailed in a Priority Mail Flat Rate box.Five percent sales tax will be collected if this item is mailed to an address in Wisconsin.
